About the role

It’s an exciting time to join the Information Digital & Technology (ID&T) team as we have recently begun yourtown’s Digital Transformation journey. We call it Program LEAD (Leading Experiences Across Digital).

Program LEAD will directly and significantly contribute to achieving yourtown’s strategic goals to:

  • Help more young people, by modernising our digital footprint and enabling greater outreach
  • Help young people more deeply, by enabling us to offer integrated services, informed and personalised through improved data capture
  • Become a more efficient and effective organisation, enabling automation, making it faster to get information, and will streamline the ways in which we work
  • Increase funding, through reaching more financial stakeholders and engaging them more effectively.

As the MS Dynamics 365 Developer based in Milton you will play a key role in the successful development, support, and integration of human-centric solutions, leveraging our new leading edge cloud technologies Microsoft Dynamics, Power Platform and Azure Services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Create and agree on solution designs with relevant stakeholders using agile and lean methods that focus on maximising business value
  • Develop solution designs using agreed development practices, recognised design principles and patterns, and technologies to achieve business outcomes in a timely and supportable manner
  • Deploy software applications into the various development and testing environments using agreed CI/CD processes and practices
  • Develop and maintain appropriate automated tests
  • Create and maintain documentation as required to ensure ongoing supportability
  • Work in an agile environment, delivering incremental product functionality in short iterations
  • Estimate and plan to assist with the development of the product roadmap
  • Proactive involvement in research and development of potential new technologies/features to incorporate in the solutions.


About you

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent studies/experience
  • Proven experience in a technical development role within ERP/CRM Systems such as MS Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, .NET, and Restful API integration technologies
  • Demonstrated experience with developing within the MS Business Applications ecosystem such as Dynamics CRM, Customer Engagement and Power Platform: PowerApps and Power Automate
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, SharePoint
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes and Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline tools
  • Solid knowledge of programming concepts, patterns, design principles, procedures, and practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and a positive attitude towards challenges and openness to learning.
