Based at a confidential location in the Scenic Rim, the Site Support Worker provides high quality cleaning and support services across a variety of settings to ensure the efficient, safe, and hygienic operation of properties, facilities, and assets managed by the service.

Our Domestic and Family Violence Refuge is a welcoming haven for women and their children who have experienced the trauma of domestic and family violence. All refuge staff work towards assisting families to regain independence & safety following domestic and family violence.

Your role will include:

• General cleaning of shared facilities including the office, gym, and activity centre
• Preparing homes for new families by thoroughly cleaning residences after families exit the service
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the donation and supply shed and child car seats, including safeguarding compliance
• Assisting contractors when onsite to ensure clear lines of vision are always maintained for the purpose of safeguarding
• Ensuring adequate stock levels of cleaning supplies and maintenance of cleaning equipment
• Assisting with ad hoc tasks as required

This position permanent part time, 22.8 hours per week, with flexibility around hours and days.

You will bring:

• passion, commitment and belief in young people
• 1-3 years’ experience in cleaning, maintenance or similar support roles
• demonstrated ability to be flexible and effective in time management
• ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously
• a drivers’ licence is essential
• experience in commercial cleaning, community or residential service settings is desirable
