your opportunity

As the Construction Supervisor you will ensure that all contracted construction is achieved in the most efficient and effective manner within the approved timeframe and budget. This position will provide line management and support to yourtown Enterprise Trainers and Carpentry Apprentices and trainees; to support outcome achievement for customers and young team members.

your role will include:

• Delivery of quality training to young team members employed in yourtown enterprises
• Effective supervision, role modelling and leadership, with an emphasis on positive reinforcement and affirmation of their achievements.
• Deliver construction outcomes and achieve contractual obligations and production targets
• Provide operational support to the team and coordinate service provision across projects.
• Involvement in developing a high performing team including; Recruitment & Selection, Training & Development, and ongoing performance reviews

what we are looking for:

In addition, you also possess;

• Current construction builder's license with minimum class equivalent to ‘QLD QBCC Builder - Low Rise'
• A minimum of six years project management experience delivering diverse construction projects
• Experience in staff supervision, leading a team, and the ability to coach and guide team members
• A Construction Nominee Licence would be highly regarded
• Demonstrated customer service skills, well developed oral & written communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with and motivate young people
