Reporting to the Evaluation Manager, the Senior Evaluation Officer will contribute to the provision of high-quality evaluation services across yourtown through strategic and evidence-based practice to support service delivery and clients. In addition to this you will:

  • Conduct evaluations in line with business plans to ensure high quality and effective service delivery.
  • Analyse quantitative and qualitative data using advanced statistical and qualitative techniques and systems.
  • Review and prepare evaluation documentation including theory of change, program logic, performance and monitor frameworks.
  • Collaborate and consult with internal programs and services to develop evaluation documentation.
  • Support the development of a positive and professional evaluation culture.

Role requirements:

  • Bachelor level qualification in relevant discipline or experience in similar position.
  • Demonstrated high-level evaluation in NGO, public or private sectors, including leading complex ethics documentation, approvals, and application within evaluations.
  • Highly developed stakeholder communication skills (written and oral) including demonstrated ability to develop and present key messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Thorough understanding of the role evaluation has in improving service delivery outcomes.
  • Excellent judgement and demonstrated ability to uphold and live the values of yourtown.
