Reporting to the Manager, Advocacy Research and Innovation, you will play a key role in analysing and reporting on social and economic policy and its impacts on children, young people and their families. You will analyse contemporary social and economic policy to develop and implement yourtown position statements and advocacy strategies and represent the organisation in sector and government policy-making forums.
To be considered for this opportunity you will possess the following:• University level qualifications with demonstrated experience in social policy, research or evidence-informed advocacy• Demonstrated experience in the development of social policy and advocacy proposals and strategies • Highly developed interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills including the ability to build strong relationships across all levels• High level stakeholder management and collaboration skills and a demonstrated ability to influence public policy decision making • Excellent judgement and demonstrated ability to uphold and live the values of yourtown
