Due to ongoing growth, we have a new opportunity to join our National Job Outcomes Team based in our corporate head office in Milton as a National Outcomes Unit Consultant.

About the role?

As a National Outcomes Unit Consultant at yourtown, you will work across various facets of providing individually tailored employment related services to young people, aimed at assisting them to achieve ongoing employment outcomes consistent with their individual needs and abilities. You will:

  • Deliver quality services that enhance the lives of young people by focusing on their strengths
  • Create opportunities for young people to enhance employment and education outcomes;
  • Maintain regular contact and communication with Job Seekers and Employers;
  • Achieve individual KPI’s and team goals to meet outcome targets. Achieve minimum performance targets based on 4, 12, and 26 week outcomes;
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills, and a strong customer service focus;
  • Facilitate discussions between the Centralised Post Placement Support Centre and yourtown employment services sites;
  • Understand and meet quality and compliance requirements;
  • Provide the participant with mentoring and support to help them improve their workplace skills, practical issues, or resolving workplace problems;


  • Certificate level qualifications in a relevant field with a minimum two years experience in Employment Services, training or case management; or a minimum four years specialised experience within a relevant industry.
  • Comply with the relevant state or territory requirements for working with children Satisfactory National Criminal History Check
  • Possess an unrestricted current Driver’s Licence
  • Demonstrate professional conduct, behaviour and communication that is in line with yourtown’s Values and Behaviours.

Remuneration for this role commences at $66,196 + super + salary packaging to the value of $15,990 per annum, in line with yourtown’s Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.
