This newly created role provides a unique opportunity to make a difference for children and young people.
Reporting to the Head of Advocacy and Research, you will lead yourtown’s advocacy, research, strategy and innovation functions to deliver on work priorities identified in the business plan and other strategic priorities.
To be considered for this opportunity you will possess the following:• University level qualifications with extensive experience in social policy, research or evidence informed advocacy• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and inspire a team of professionals • Demonstrated experience in leading the development of social policy, advocacy proposals and strategies and research proposals • Highly developed interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills including the ability to build strong relationships across all levels• High level stakeholder management and collaboration skills and a demonstrated ability to influence public policy decision making • Excellent judgement and demonstrated ability to uphold and live the values of yourtown
