your opportunity

Based at Blacktown and working with the Virtual Services team, this role has responsibility for providing quality administrative support to support business plans and objectives. You will work closely with the leadership team as well as the wider virtual services team nationally.

Your role will include:

• Provide a full range of operational support services to the Virtual Services team
• Coordinate site operational and safety requirements including parking, facilities management, site maintenance, kitchen and stationery supplies
• Provide a professional and welcoming reception for all visitors to the site
• Support onsite events, including setting up events, catering and support at the event
• Coordinate and book travel, accommodation and flights
• Coordinate equipment and assets for the site, including managing any site related technology issues
• Document management including creation, review and filing
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of team members
• Assist virtual services operations team with administration tasks as required

This is a permanent part time position, 5 days per fortnight. Working days will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

what we are looking for

You will have at least 3 years’ experience providing administration support at a management level. Your time management and organisational skills will allow you to achieve deadlines in an environment of multiple competing priorities. Communication and professional presentation are vital for this role and you will possess the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with a wide range of staff.

You will bring:

• passion, commitment and belief in young people
• proficient office management skills including the ability to analyse issues and adopt a proactive attitude
• ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively with others
• skills in formatting and presenting documentation for internal and external publication
• high proficiency in MS Office, content management software and invoicing and credit card reconciliation
• willingness to take on any task as required
