your opportunity
As an Employment Consultant (known internally as Job Development Coach) you will deliver tailored employment services within the new Inclusive Employment Australia initiative (formerly Disability Employment Services) to young people living with disability. You will coach, guide, and empower our members to overcome barriers, build work readiness and secure sustainable employment.
This is a frontline, relationships-driven role where you will:
- Work one-on-one with young people on your caseload to understand their goals and build practical job plans that help them take the next step toward employment.
- Build inclusive job opportunities by partnering with local employers.
- Bring young voices to the centre and support youth into meaningful, lasting work.
- Stay connected post-placement to ensure long-term success.
- Work closely with internal teams and community partners to amplify impact.
- Promote youth-first, strengths-based approaches that put potential front and centre.
