Provide culturally specific mentoring and guidance to Indigenous youth aged between 15-24 years of age and help them develop the skills required to help them enter and stay in the workforce.

Your days will be diverse but in essence will include:

• Build and maintain employer relationships locally who foster culturally safe workplaces.
• Create relationships with employers to support and understand their needs to support both their business and young people success on the job.

In addition you also possess;

• Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people with an employment/case management focus.
• A solid understanding of local jobs as well as the barriers faced by disadvantaged young people.
• Open to deliver workshops and group facilitation with young people (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander specifically).
• Proficient skills in using technology and systems; our compliance requirements are high and your administration needs to be on par with this.
