As the Full Stack Web & Sitecore Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain dynamic, interactive Sitecore and PHP/Drupal websites, ensuring optimal performance, security, and usability. Working in our ID&T team, you will work closely with various business units to deliver organisational projects and offer technical expertise on network structures and systems architecture.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and maintain both front-end (using React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end (using Node.js, Python, PHP) components of web applications, ensuring seamless integration, functionality, and cross-browser compatibility across the entire stack.
• Create and manage custom Sitecore components, templates, layouts, and workflows, ensuring optimal integration with other systems and third-party applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, implement new features, maintain existing applications, and lead technical design and architecture discussions.
• Conduct thorough testing to identify and fix bugs, optimising performance & ensuring application reliability. In addition, you will collaborate with our quality assurance teams to implement automated testing procedures.

This position participates in rostered on-call duties to provide support and ensure the continuous operation of web applications.

what we are looking for

• Possess tertiary qualifications in computer science, web development, software engineering or related fields, or have equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrate significant experience in building and deploying full-stack web applications, with expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScipt frameworks such as SiteCore, React, and Node.js.
• Proficient in designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs, with knowledge of API best practices and standards.
• Expertise in relational databases, including complex schema design, query optimisation, and performance tuning.
• Strong experience with client-side JavaScript frameworks (HTML, CSS, React.js) and backend technologies (Node.js, Express.js), along with Sitecore, PHP, and its frameworks.
• Extensive experience deploying to and managing cloud architectures, particularly Microsoft Azure, with a deep understanding of microservices.
• Exhibit excellent organisational skills, problem-solving abilities, and interpersonal skills to engage and influence key stakeholders effectively. Prioritise tasks, multitask, and maintain a customer-focused approach in a demanding professional environment.
