your opportunity

The IT Contracts Specialist will provide support to review, manage, and maintain the technology vendor contracts that enable the delivery of technology services to yourtown.

In this position, you will:

• Manage and maintain the ID&T contracts register, including regular proactive contract renewal engagement and internal approvals, adding new contracts, and ensuring the accurate status of contracts.
• Spearhead the administration of IT commercial elements including supporting the Procure to Pay process, creating & receipting purchase orders, and creating & maintaining quarterly software licence audits.
• Lead and manage the end-to-end market sourcing, RFP/RFQ documentation, evaluation, and negotiation activities.
• Contribute to drafting and negotiating statements of work and other required ICT contracts.
• Responsible for communications (inbound/outbound) of the ID&T Commercial Mailbox.

• Demonstrated experience working in a commercial team, with an understanding of IT agreements and suppliers.
• Adept in supporting negotiations with suppliers while also maintaining positive working relationships with our stakeholders.
• Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to think laterally, and achieves deadlines in an environment of multiple competing priorities.
• Exceptional negotiation, influencing, & networking skills, coupled with outstanding interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to foster positive working relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
