About the role

In this newly created role of Digital and Technology Operations Manager you will report in directly to the Chief Information Officer. You will strategically lead yourtown through a digital transformation program that operationalises the enterprise omni-channel platforms, Enterprise Resource Planning and Human Capital Management platforms, cloud computing and the automation agenda.

You will lead the application, infrastructure and platform environments and implement a DevOps product-based framework that includes best practice and promotes a culture of customer satisfaction.

Your other key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and monitoring Technology operations;
  • Leading and managing operations and development budgets for digital platforms and ongoing annual operations budgets;
  • Collaborating with stakeholders in the wider business and championing technology driven changes by educating and influencing;
  • Raising customer service levels to ensure service requests, incidents and problems are being appropriately prioritised and resolved.

About you

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Information Management or similar coupled with a qualification in service management (ITIL);
  • Demonstrated technical experience leading a portfolio of enterprise applications in a large, multi-disciplinary organisation;
  • Proven success improving customer experience, driving operational efficiencies and improving processes;
  • Proven experience leading and inspiring blended teams and delivering performance and proficiency management;
  • Strong relationship building and influential skills to promote the yourtown agenda;
  • Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking coupled with a results driven attitude.
