Join yourtown’s ID&T team as a Solutions Architect and play a key role in shaping the future of our IT landscape. In this role, you will partner closely with yourtown stakeholders to design and deliver practical, cost effective IT infrastructure solutions. These solutions will align with organisational and enterprise strategies while meeting relevant guidelines and standards.
In this role you will:
• Design and deliver robust IT solutions using cloud‑based and on‑prem technologies that meet business requirements and are aligned to organisational strategy.
• Partner closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable, secure and cost effective technical solutions.
• Own solution architecture initiatives end to end, from initial design and development through to implementation and post implementation review.
• Provide expert technical assurance by identifying and managing risks, contributing to business cases, presenting recommendations at governance forums, and staying current with emerging technologies and best practice.
what we are looking for
• Bachelor qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline, with five or more years’ experience in a similar role or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong understanding of current and emerging technology trends and their application to business optimisation and transformation.
• Proven experience designing and supporting Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and telephony solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to engage, influence and facilitate complex stakeholder groups, including senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
• Highly developed communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills, with strong written reporting capability.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
• Strong planning and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
