your opportunity

Based at our easily accessible site in Milton, next door to Suncorp stadium, you will be a  key player in facilitating successful business change initiatives and you will help to define business problems and solutions via in-depth investigation and gathering of technical and non-technical information. You will confidently use qualitative and quantitative techniques to assess what is working or not, create solutions that improve processes, and provide insights on becoming more efficient. Permanent and contract positions available. 

In this position, you will:

  • Contribute to a multi-disciplinary project team to understand, map, validate and document business requirements including modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements
  • Supporting business transformation and help to establish change by collaborating with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision.
  • Identify project stakeholders and establishes customer classes, as well as their characteristics.
  • Analyses and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and meet the requirements of the position and all performance expectations including maintaining currency of knowledge regarding relevant legislation, professional practice and emerging trends to ensure advice is current and effective.
  • Participating in other duties and cross-functional teams as may be required in order to achieve efficient and effective yourtown services.

what we are looking for

You will be innovative, positive, flexible, results-driven and enjoy taking ownership of tasks through to completion. In addition, you will also possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an area such as business, finance or information technology
  • Minimum of five years of related work experience
  • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modelling, verification, and methodology development
  • Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning, organising, and managing resources
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft and Project Management software
  • Knowledge and some experience of change management methodologies ie PROSCI, CMI, LEAN
