your opportunity
As a Virtual Job Placement Coach working in the Transition to Work Program, you will be part of a support team that works together with the young person to provide individually tailored employment related services aimed at assisting them to achieve ongoing employment. In this role, you will use your customer service skills and ability to build working relationships with young people to support them to engage with yourtown & gain skills that will lead them to meaningful, sustainable employment.
Your role will include:
• Contacting recently referred participants to schedule future appointments & discuss missed appointments
• Contacting participants to remind them of upcoming appointments.
• Maintaining member contact, member records and ensuring compliance to relevant systems and contract guidelines.
• Identifying barriers to participant engagement and arranging support to address these barriers.
• Completing virtual intake assessments with the participant to determine work readiness.
• Developing tailored job plans for the young person.
• Working in collaboration with young people to set goals and implement strategies to achieve these goals

• Demonstrated experience providing quality customer service to young people, preferably within the employment services industry

• Proficient skills in using technology and systems; our compliance requirements are high, and your administration needs to be on par with this.
• Great stakeholder engagement skills.
