your opportunity

As the Assurance & Quality Advisor, you will manage the development, maintenance and monitoring of policies, procedures, work instructions and standard operating procedures. Based in Milton and working with the People & Culture Team, your role involves providing essential support for functional areas aligned with Compliance, Quality Assurance, Health and Safety, and relevant regulations governing people-related matters.

Your role will include:

• Review and audit the current People & Culture document suite for currency, consistency and identify gaps in policy and procedure.
• Assist with the development, formatting, and publishing of policies, procedures and supporting documents.
• Maintain an up-to-date quality improvement register and audit schedule for the People & Culture program.
• Monitor and update the document control register to minor updates of policies and procedures.
• Ensure all team members are compliant with compliance checks required for their role.

what we are looking for

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a Human Resources or Quality Assurance role.
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a relevant field is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Acts and Regulations, such as Freedom of Information Act, Privacy Act, Anti-discrimination Act, WHS/OH&S Act/s.
• Experience with safety and quality management systems, regulatory compliance, and internal audit management.
• Experience with assisting in the development of organisation wide policies and procedures.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Results focused, innovative and determined in approach to delivering quality of outputs.
• This position is a permanent full-time role but we are happy to explore the role being 4 days per week or 9 days per fortnight for the right candidate.
