The Program Manager is responsible for delivering the outcomes of the annual portfolio of Digital & Technology projects to be delivered across the organisation including systems, infrastructure, and major upgrade projects. The role will program manage numerous and often complex projects, which will include dependency mapping, resourcing, communicating objectives, monitoring progress and budget management.

As the Program Manager, your role will include:

• Manage a program of ID&T initiatives across the full program and project lifecycle through defined phases and stage gate approvals.
• Develop all communication and reporting requirements to stakeholders to ensure they are kept up to date with priorities, challenges, and opportunities.
• Lead and manage a high performing team through the promotion of a team culture that motivates and inspires professional conduct.
• Define and conduct program governance controls and adherence to EPMP practices where applicable.
• Develop detailed project plans, articulating business drivers, future state vision, key objectives, milestones, and timelines, and measures of success including timeframes for key milestones.
• Identify, document, and manage decisions, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.

what we are looking for

• Hold Project Management accreditations, or tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience within Information Technology programs of work with demonstrable experience managing technical projects through the full project lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale, complex projects, developing, and implementing creative solutions.
• Proven interpersonal skills with experience engaging and influencing key stakeholders to achieve optimal business outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and inspire diverse teams of technical and generalist staff and coaching them to achieve excellence in their service offering.
• Highly developed written and oral communication skills including a demonstrated ability to prepare reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, facilitation, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, across organisational levels and a variety of sectors.
• Advanced experience and competence in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, especially MS Project along with Sharepoint and capability to learn new systems quickly.
