About the Role

The People & Culture Data & Insights Lead will be supporting the P&C team by analysing, reporting, and telling data stories in a meaningful and insightful way. This will support our leaders in driving the organisation towards our maturity journey and will be instrumental in the discovery and design of quality people metrics at yourtown. We want to be pro-active and have quality HR metrics that will give us visibility and knowledge of our people data to support our P&C and organisational strategy.

This is a new role for the P&C so you will be pivotal in shaping workforce planning and providing predictive analytics to a team who are enthusiastic to learn. You will need to be comfortable developing metrics from scratch and will have experience pulling data from multiple HR and legacy yourtown systems.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Create, develop and maintain a cyclical reporting schedule of P&C metrics
  • Undertake research and provide advice on best practice ensuring this is communicated with our P&C leaders regularly
  • Support the organisation to create predictive analysis, establish workforce planning and influence the organization in a constructive and positive way
  • Work with P&C leaders to provide meaningful data and present back to them in an engaging way
  • Create data stories that can drive performance improvement and influence decision making
  • Develop analytical tools and software 
  • Create and support data quality initiatives, governance of accuracy and ongoing integrity of P&C data
  • Providing support and assistance with all data and reporting matters

About you

We’re looking for candidates with:

  • Degree level qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g. Human Resources, Business, Data Science)
  • 3+ years’ experience in a data & analytics position within a P&C/ HR team
  • High level understanding of People & Culture responsibilities
  • Proven experience developing reports and using analysis to assist with business decisions
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to analyse and present data in valid ways to tell powerful stories
  • Curious and inquisitive attributes to compare and research data
  • Great attention to detail and organisation skills that can manage multiple priorities
