It’s an exciting time to join the Information Digital & Technology (ID&T) team as we have just begun yourtown’s Digital Transformation journey. We call it Program LEAD (Leading Experiences Across Digital). This will see a significant uplift/change to our technology stacks as we bring online more cloud platforms such as Dynamics CRM, Customer, Marketing, Sales, and Contact Centre.

What you’ll be doing

The Cloud Administrator will support ID&T Operations with the ongoing management, configuration, and maintenance of our Azure cloud infrastructure across the organisation.

You will play a critical role in a multi-skilled high performing team of professionals responsible for the installation and secure operation of Desktop and Mobile Computing, Microsoft 365 suite, digital telephony, printing, multimedia, and video conferencing.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Install, support, and maintain the yourtown MS Azure environment, ensuring it runs smoothly and securely
  • Develop and maintain documentation and knowledge base articles relating to configurations, processes, and design
  • Participate in project work such as cloud migrations, server installations and network audits
  • Provide additional support for on-prem hardware to support overall team capability for infrastructure at yourtown office locations
  • Provide level 3 technical support and coaching to Level 1 in-house service desk team
  • Manage support tickets ensuring all open requests are resolved as quickly as possible and in line with SLAs
  • Provide training and technical guidance to other team members
  • Participate in rostered on-call responsibilities as required

What you’ll need to thrive in the role

  • University level qualification in Information Technology or relevant discipline and 2 years’ experience or a minimum of five (5) years’ experience providing Level 2 and Level 3 support
  • Certified Microsoft Azure certifications
  • Experience managing the Microsoft collaboration stack including Office 365, Azure AD Connect, Exchange & SharePoint Online
  • Experience with enterprise directory and identity solutions (Active Directory, Azure Authentication, Single sign-on, MFA)
  • Sound understanding and working knowledge of the Informational Technology and Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail, resourcefulness, and accuracy
  • Experience of resolving matters logically and creatively, performing root cause analysis to accurately identify and troubleshoot system issues
  • Excellent organisational skills with a capacity to prioritise, multi-task, utilise project management methodologies and always work with a customer focused approach
