For over 15 years, yourtown has been providing quality employment services throughout Australia in communities facing long-term unemployment. yourtown works persistently to address youth unemployment and its causes, by unpacking the challenges a young person might have and finding the right solution for that young person.

We are currently looking for an experienced, engaging, and energetic Virtual Workshop Coach to join our dynamic team, based in Milton. Our Workshop Coaches work with our Employment Service members on a national scale and deliver virtual training daily.

In this role you will:

  • Design, implement and deliver virtual work preparation workshops tailored to meet the needs and skills of young members
  • Create relevant up to date material that focus on enhancing the strengths and uniqueness of each of our members, 
  • Collaborate and maintain strong professional relationships with all stakeholders
  • Collate and interpret feedback from members and stakeholders to form ongoing development plans for future workshop delivery

This is a permanent full time position located in Milton, QLD!
You will have access to fantastic technology and facilities! 

About you:

  • You will have Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (eg. Training and Assessment, Coaching or Human Resources) with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in providing employment-related services or training; or a minimum of four (4) years of employment services experience in operating at a Team Leader level
  • You will be skilled in delivering and designing group training sessions on a virtual basis, whilst capturing your audience with exciting, current, and relevant material.
  • You will have the ability to build strong rapport with all Employment Service participants as well as key stakeholders to source gaps and develop programs to cover a range of relevant training that meets our business needs.
  • Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal with a passion for facilitation.
