yourtown is one of the leading Not for Profit organisation's in mental health support and Employment Services and is currently in its evolution to expand its services across Australia!
As an established Employment Service provider in South East Queensland, we are now looking to expand our portfolio to deliver Transition to Work in Bundaberg! The Transition to Work service provides intensive, pre-employment support to young people aged 15-24 to help improve their work-readiness and help them into work or further education!
For over 15 years, yourtown has been providing quality employment services throughout Australia in communities facing long-term unemployment. yourtown works persistently to address youth unemployment and its causes, by unpacking the challenges a young person might have and finding the right solution for that young person.
We have an exciting new opportunity for a passionate and qualified Counsellor to join our new team in Bundaberg to support and improve educational, employment and wellbeing outcomes for young job seekers aged 15 – 25. You will provide counselling and therapeutic support throughout the young job seekers’ journey by engaging education, employment and/or training options to support employability development.
This is a crucial role to help young job seekers find their gateway to a successful career!
