About the role

In this newly created role of Data Architect you will play a key role in establishing the foundational capabilities for enterprise information management and governance. You will implement new ways of working including the processes and governance mechanisms for data, analytics and insights management.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining, documenting and championing the data management framework, strategy, principles, standards and models at an enterprise level;
  • Planning, coordinating, architecting and supervising all activities relates to the integration of software programs and aligning to the business strategy;
  • Developing database design and architecture documentation for a range of competencies;
  • Analysing and reporting on ongoing data and architecture requirements and using this information to drive the data strategy.

About you

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Demonstrated technical experience within a similar role working at an enterprise level to develop data management or architecture policies, new programs or project initiatives;
  • Extensive experience in data architecture or data management coupled with strong experience in uplifting data management capability maturity;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as a liaison between tech and non-tech stakeholders;
  • Strong relationship building and influential skills to promote the data governance agenda across yourtown;
  • Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking coupled with a results driven attitude.
