About the role

As the Team Leader for Transition to Work, you will report directly to the Regional Manager. Every day will be highly varied and challenging however your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the site with a strengths based, client centred approach whilst maintaining a strong outcome focus;
  • Leading a high performing team of 5 direct reports and driving performance;
  • Actively engaging the community to increase awareness of our program;
  • Undertaking post placement support activities to ensure sustainable outcomes.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in Ipswich. Remuneration for this role commences at $75,444 per annum + 10% Superannuation + 15,990 salary packaging.

About you

To be successful in this role you possess;

  • Demonstrated experience in Employment Services (preferred) operating at a leadership level;
  • Strategic leadership experience leading, coaching and guiding diverse teams and driving KPIs;
  • Strong operational focus and the ability to roll up your sleeves and step in when the going gets tough;
  • Strong understanding of the labour market as well as the barriers to employment faced by young people coupled with demonstrated knowledge of the government and community networks;
  • High level negotiation skills and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
