Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator

As a Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the everyday operations of yourtown sites. You will be responsible for maintaining general maintenance; day-to-day contractor management; coordinating trades and services on-site; maintaining service scheduling and updating facilities maintenance schedules. In addition to this you will:  

  • Delivery of allocated initiatives and projects on time, within budget, and to scope/specification.
  • Coordinate trades and services on-site, ensure all induction, permits, and appropriate accreditation and agreed service and contract standards.
  • Respond to internal facilities and properties inquiries and ensure all inquiries/ requests are logged correctly and reported.
  • Establishes and maintains credible, professional relationships with clients, business leaders, and external vendors to meet organisation needs.
  • Negotiate quotes and manage project budgets.
  • Undertake building maintenance/ modifications when required across sites.


Be to successful: 

  • Experience in a similar role and hold trade qualification in Construction, Building or similar experience in commercial property.
  • Sound understanding of contractor management.
  • Strong safety focus.
  • Decision-making ability based on operational needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proven team player and autonomous operator.
  • Computer literate, sound administrative skills, and demonstrated attention to detail.
