As the Employment Services Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing yourtown’s brand visibility and voice across digital platforms. You will proactively create authentic, engaging content that resonates with audiences while representing our Employment Services brand. In this role you will also:

  • Build and maintain our social media presence and participate in new and creative growth strategies;
  • Drive social media strategies and content schedules for Employment Services nationwide;
  • Moderate and respond in conjunction with local yourtown sites to direct messages to yourtown Employment Services social media accounts;
  • Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach our target audience;
  • Provide creative input for layout, look, feel and photographic content of yourtown publications for digital media and web whilst adhering to corporate standards;
  • Communicate and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver co-designed content; and
  • Analyse data to design content strategies including creation and distribution of high-quality market messaging.

 

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications or marketing or experience in a similar role;
  • Strong knowledge and experience of employment services and challenges to youth unemployment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage your daily workload and project timelines;
  • Clear and concise communication skills, with excellent written communication and content development skills;
  • Knowledge and experience with social scheduling and listening tools (Hootsuite, Social Studios, Sprout Social), ads management tools (Facebook Ads Manager) and Google Analytics;
  • Understand what content and trends are relevant to young people and know how to reflect this through the messaging and creative delivered while staying true to brand; and
  • Be an excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to gain insights and inform decisions.
