For over 15 years, yourtown has been providing quality employment services throughout Australia in communities facing long-term unemployment. Employment Services at yourtown works persistently to address youth unemployment and its causes, by unpacking the challenges a young person might have and finding the right solution for that young person.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Program Advisor to join our Employment Services team based in Milton.

What does a Program Advisor do at yourtown?

As the Program Advisor, you will work with key business stakeholders to develop tenders, contracts, and business strategies. You will also provide analysis and reporting information to assist in the achievement of the client services program.

  • Analyse performance data to identify trends;
  • Prepare and provide performance reports;
  • Share, collate and collect information from jobactive staff;
  • Share recommendations and commentary of data with relevant parties;
  • Maintain and coordinate performance data;
  • Analyse financial data to develop budgets;
  • Review and develop policies and procedure as required;
  • Manage stakeholder complaints and feedback;
  • Attend and host teleconferences, webinars and meetings;


Requirements for Success

  • Experience in contract management and/ or data analytics;
  • Passionate about investigating business data to generate insights and programs;
  • Ability to develop tenders, contracts, submissions and performance improvement strategies;
  • Knowledge of Government “fee for service” and grant-based service delivery contracts;
  • Ensure policies, procedures and compliance documentation is implemented;
  • Advanced Excel and general Microsoft Office skills;
  • Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills; and
  • Tertiary qualification and three (3) years’ experience in Employment Services/ Data Analysis; OR six (6) years within senior analytical or reporting position within government funding employment services.
