Our Virtual Services division includes Kids Helpline and Parentline telephone, email and web counselling services. Kids Helpline is a national, free, confidential counselling service specifically for young people that operates a 50+-seat contact centre 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with shifts varying to meet expected demand.

About the role:
Based at Milton and reporting to the Workforce Planning and Administration Manager, the Workforce Planning Analyst focusses on data analysis, contact and staff forecasting, reporting and contract management support, to enable effective decision making that supports clients and business objectives. Working as part of a small close-knit team, you will help us realise our ambitious goal to double contacts to the service and support our counsellors to be there to listen to young people across Australia anytime and for any reason.

You will need:
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to generate and manipulate reports as well as interpret and provide commentary to inform decision-making
• The ability to grasp new concepts, systems and technical knowledge quickly and efficiently 
• The ability to analyse data and identify patterns
• You will have a continuous improvement mindset and be constantly seeking out opportunities for improving performance
• Your written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder engagement skills will assist you to ensure your recommendations are embraced
• Ideally, you will have experience in workforce planning, however this position provides the opportunity to be coached and mentored by an experienced Workforce Planning Manager
