your opportunity

Based at Milton and working within the Office of the CEO, this will be a key influencer and a critical leadership role, supporting the development and execution of the multi-year contemporising of yourtown’s human capital management system and the associated people and process changes.

This role will focus on building and executing people-centric strategies, inspiring, empowering and guiding teams to be adaptable to change, and ensuring organisational efficiencies during business transformation.

Working closely with people & culture leadership, program governance and project delivery resources, you will be responsible for developing, executing and coordinating a range of key activities associated with communication, change management, information management, and events planning in support of this specific program of works.

Your role will include:

· Develop and lead the execution of a Change Strategy for the program, which is aligned to broader organisational strategies

· Collaborate with Program and Project Managers and key stakeholders to contribute to project management plans and project leadership

· Define communications and change management requirements, including change and communication scope, deliverables and develop and execute plans

· Strategically engage with senior executives and business leaders to ensure consistent messaging across the leadership team, and the organisation

· Coach and provide advice to leaders and sponsors responsible for driving change, to support change leadership initiatives

This role will be appointed on a 12-month maximum term basis

what we are looking for

This role is critical to ensuring changes resulting from the various projects in the program are implemented according to the Strategy, the Change Management Plan, Project Plans and in alignment with the Communications Plan.

You will bring:

· passion, commitment and belief in young people

· Tertiary qualification in Business, Change Management, Communications/Marketing and/or Project Management (or a related discipline), or in-depth understanding of project and change management methodologies (PROSCI or equivalent)

· experience leading communication and change whilst working in Agile projects and change methodology and structure with 5+ years’ experience delivering strategic change across a complex program of work

· demonstrated experience in transformation programs, including human capital management system projects

· demonstrated experience planning and executing effective communications at all levels, including executive and board

· experience leading teams in environments experiencing significant change, promoting organisational values and coaching teams in building resilience
