&lt;p>Based in an idyllic rural setting in North Richmond, San Miguel family residential service provides intensive, individualised support to vulnerable young parents and their children. &amp;nbsp;San Miguel is a unique service that plays a critical role in keeping children safe and well and keeping young families together.&amp;nbsp; Parents and children receive support from a multi-disciplinary team through a combination of on-site and community based interventions that ensure children are engaged in safe, developmentally appropriate activities and their parents are supported to set and pursue family and personal goals.&lt;/p>
&lt;p>In this newly created role, the &lt;strong>Client Services Manager&lt;/strong> will manage quality client practice that incorporates case work, therapeutic responses and child development.&amp;nbsp; You will manage the day to day operations of the client practice team to ensure that young people and their children's needs are met. You will support staff to deliver services that are client centred, strengths based, outcome focussed, trauma informed, professional and aligned with child safe and vulnerable adult requirements, and create opportunities for change in the lives of children, young people and their families.&lt;/p>
&lt;p>You will provide strong practice leadership and extensive knowledge of child protection and case management. &amp;nbsp;Your extensive experience working with young people and families within similar a complex environment, along with your ability to assess and manage risk will allow you to grow the team's knowledge and skills and create a supportive environment that improves the safety, wellbeing and life prospects of young parents and their children. You will have broad knowledge of relevant theories, frameworks and legislation and experience in successfully leading and managing a team to achieve high quality client outcomes. &lt;p>As the &lt;strong>Domestic and Family Violence Counsellor&lt;/strong>, you will work from a strengths based, trauma informed case management model to provide counselling interventions and referrals to women who are accommodated at our refuge. You will also facilitate workshops and support the development of workshops. This role also provides outreach support, via telephone which involves following up residents who have exited and external services to ensure the women are receiving the support they need and providing court support when required. You will work closely with the Child and Family Counsellor and will participate in collaborative case reviews as part of a multidisciplinary team.&lt;/p>
&lt;p>This is a permanent part time position, 4 days per week.&lt;/p>

&lt;p>You will have Bachelor level qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or Counselling and a minimum of 3 years' experience working within a trauma informed framework. You will have demonstrated understanding of Domestic and Family Violence and how it can impact on a person's trauma response. You will have experience working with groups and an understanding of group dynamics and learning styles. You will demonstrate a strong knowledge of current evidence-based practice, programs, policies, legislation and trends relevant to domestic/family violence issues and possess excellent communication, conflict resolution and report writing skills.&lt;/p>

You will possess a Bachelor Degree in psychology, social work or counselling and have extensive experience in managing a team of counsellors. You will have strong leadership skills with a strong balance between operational and strategic experience.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p>
&lt;p>Your role as the &lt;strong>Kids Helpline Service Manager&lt;/strong> is a permanent full time position of 38 standard business hours per week. To support you in your new role you will receive two weeks’ induction training in Brisbane commencing 23rd March 2020 which is essential for the successful candidate to attend.&lt;/p>

&lt;p>&lt;strong>yourtown&lt;/strong> Community Volunteers are recruited to support our local programs, workshops and activities which may include language, literacy and numeracy tutoring, arts, sports, dance and creative workshops. All volunteers work alongside our specialist trained staff.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p>
&lt;p>How do our Volunteers really help young people?&lt;/p>
&lt;p>Our Volunteers are a positive adult role model and mentor in the young person’s life. Volunteers establish positive and supportive relationships with young people, allowing them to build confidence and self-esteem and to work on their strengths and abilities to set and reach their own goals.&lt;/p>
