As a Placement Consultant you will provide tailored employment related services to young people, aimed at assisting them to achieve ongoing employment outcomes consistent with their individual needs and abilities. This role is located in Launceston Tasmania, covering the Northern Tasmanian cluster and you must be prepared to work across this cluster as/if required.

This is a challenging but very rewarding position that requires you to be resilient, take accountability for achieving results  and above all, you need to be passionate about helping vulnerable young people achieve a brighter future through sustainable and meaningful outcomes.

This is a full time position with an immediate start available for the successful person.

Consultants will undertake activities such as:

  • Group facilitation
  • Individual assessments and service/program referrals
  • Ability to meet and exceed KPI’s consistently
  • Cold Calling and Key Stakeholder Engagement
  • Post placement support

Successful Applicants will:

  • Be passionate - this isn't just a job - it's a career and mission choice; applicants should have a genuine interest in enhancing the lives of young people by focusing on their strengths and abilities
  • Be innovative with ideas and approaches to working and engaging with young people
  • Be computer literate with sound skills in MS Office
  • Great at employer engagement - your customer service skills are second to none;
  • Experienced in employment services, training or case management and have a solid understanding of the local labour market.
